Cast away on this secluded island. Since Cape Romano can only be reached by sea, some kayak or canoe while others prefer an effortless motorboat ride. The closest ramp is located south of Marco Islands at Caxambas Pass Park. Also, beachfront camping is permitted but keep in mind that there are no facilities.
