Spanning an impressive 4,000 years of the barrier island's past, the Amelia Island Museum of History takes you on a journey back in time with help from spellbinding narrations, lectures and walking tours of the historic district. Numerous artifacts of both land and marine archaeology are on display, detailing the island's occupation under eight different flags. Guided tours take place and are available for visitors.
