French for "The Enclosure," Amelia Island's premiere French restaurant adds a dash of European culture to the small community. Light music adds intimacy to this cozy spot that comes complete with candlelight and a cottage setting. Master Chef-owner Katherine Ewing was trained in France and creates such treasures as a chicken and pork liver pate, escargots, or Crabe Farci, a crabmeat cake served with assorted peppers and pineapple relish. Entrees might include Coquilles St Jacques a la Provençal or a catch of the day with an irresistible sauce.
