Owner Chidi Ahanotu, defensive end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has created an excellent restaurant serving good food in a comfortable atmosphere. The menu offers a selection of seafood, poultry, beef and Creole entrees. Savory Louisiana Gumbo, Crab Cakes, Cajun Shrimp, Alaskan King Crab Legs, Filet Mignon, Pork Chops and Blackened Snapper are available. Sports fans will find televisions scattered throughout the restaurant, along with a news ticker. A full-scale bar is open late, and live jazz evenings are popular. An adjoining Armadillo Cigar room features an array of cigars.
