Eating at La Vigna is as close as you'll get on Sanibel Island to eating with a real Italian family. The Rao brothers have created an atmosphere that is open and friendly. The restaurant is only open for dinner. Entrees include pasta, beef, and fish. The pizza is made in a wood-burning oven, and the bread is baked daily. They have call ahead dining, which is a bit different than reservations. Beer, wine and half-portions are also available. The friendly atmosphere is fun for children.
