See the Keys by water, as the original settlers did. This houseboating company has a fleet of 40-foot boats accommodating six to eight sailors. You'll find everything on board but food. You operate the houseboat yourself. Staff at the shop will get you started with instructions, charts of the local waters and information on where and when to see birds and wildlife. There's a three-day minimum and a weeklong boat rental runs from $1,025 to $1,575. If you're looking for a one-day adventure, kayaks, small skiffs and canoes are available.
