Like a lot of beaches, Midtown Beach too has undergone a face lift and with a lot more reclaimed sand is a lot more beach, and for those interested in marine life, a lot more nesting space for sea turtles. However, there aren't any toilets or changing rooms, so be prepared. Lifeguards are on call and there is metered parking available on the nearby side streets.
