Every town has a gathering spot for local politicians and celebrities, and when the bigwigs turn out for Southern cuisine in Atlanta, this is the spot. Sip a mint julep while you peruse the menu of regional specialties, from Savannah crab cakes to coastal venison pie, home-baked breads and deserts to tomato-based barbecue. The hostess will greet you in a period hoop skirt, then escort you to the antebellum dining room to the accompaniment of live entertainment. A wine tasting is offered once a week as well. Full bar service available.
