Overlooking Sharptop Mountain, this charming spot is rustic lodge ambiance all the way. The several dining rooms features tables for families and quiet corners for romantic couples. Chef de cuisine Hans Rueffert displays his talents with a full menu of authentic German, as well as some interesting deviations. Try the ostrich filet, roasted and sliced, and served with sauteed shitake mushrooms. Full bar service is available. About 40 minutes north of Atlanta, the inn offers cozy overnight lodging for those who can't get enough of the panoramic views.
