Green Flash Coffee is just out of the way, and if you didn't know it was there you'd miss a wonderful thing. Look for the sandwich board on the street and pop into this tiny establishment. They are locally known for their fresh smoothies (using only fresh fruits and veggies), grilled panini sandwiches, and Big Island Ice Cream (try the white chocolate ginger flavor). They also sell Hawaiian Vanilla Products, including lip balm, body wash, and preserves. Covered patio seating is around the back, so after you order, go out and enjoy the day while you wait for your food. - Nora Dunn
