View the city through 57th Street Art Fair's artists' eyes. In Hyde Park during the sunny, mild days of early June you can experience the city's largest collection of original works by local artists. Free to all, this exhibit has become a "must see" for students and lovers of art. It is the Midwest's oldest art fair, dating back to 1948, and also one of its most popular. Easy access by car via Lake Shore Drive, with many free parking locations.

I like going to the Art Fair every year! There are several artists I really like, and hopefully I will be able to afford to buy art at some point! It's fun...
This gets duller and duller with each passing year--a few good jewelers and potters, one amazing weaver, and really, the only emotional and transcendant...
