Innovative pieces dating from 1945 to the present by internationally-acclaimed painters, sculptors and video artists are showcased in this modern gallery near Lake Michigan. The permanent collection features works by Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenburg, Franz Kline and others. Performances, lectures, workshops and classes are held in the museum's 300-seat state-of-the-art theater. Guided tours are available.
