Cozy and well-appointed, Cafe 103 is nestled on a quiet commercial street in the Beverly neighborhood near the southern end of Chicago. Serving up American contemporary with global influences (mainly French and South Asian), Chef Thomas Eckert prepares each dish with a lot of attention to detail. For an appetizer, try the rabbit rillets with fig jam, rock salt, and grilled baguette. Entrees include tandoori Arctic char, guinea hen roulade with smoky lardons, kohlrabi puree, morels, and watercress sauce. The menu changes frequently according to season.
