This elegant bistro may seem a bit out of place in its somewhat downscale surroundings on the edge of Logan Square, but Cafe Matou makes it worthwhile to explore the changing neighborhood. The walls of the spacious restaurant are draped with local art, and cat shaped chandeliers illuminate the main dining room. Traditional French Country fare can be complemented with a selection from the predominantly French wine list and perhaps a delicious homemade dessert.
