Located in the Printers Row neighborhood of Chicago, critically acclaimed chef Shawn McClain has another hit with Custom House. After the success of vegetarian themed Green Zebra and Asian inspired Spring, Custom House brings regional American fare with a Mediterranean influence. The décor is contemporary yet warm, with beige suede banquettes, stone walls and burgundy accents. McClain's menu focuses on artisanal meats and is seasonally driven, using mostly local vendors and only the freshest, farm-raised products. An extensive menu of boutique wines have been chosen specially to compliment the menu, and knowledgeable waiters are on hand to help with your selection. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner, a nightly three course pre-theater menu is also available.
