Though the location has been the home to a number of previous restaurants, the 'fiasco' this restaurant's name refers to is actually the Italian name for the familiar straw wrapping found on chianti bottles. While much of Il Fiasco's menu consists of traditional pasta dishes, there are also some interesting twists on offer as well; like the jalapeno gnocchi. The Neapolitan-style pizza is one of the more popular items on the menu. These 12-inch thin-crust pizzas feature a variety of toppings, ranging from a traditional margherita to the piccante with Italian salami, red onions, arugula, tomato, and mozzarella. If you've already eaten a full meal, but are still looking for a nice way to end your evening in the neighborhood, consider stopping by Il Fiasco for a drink and dessert.
