The service and atmosphere at L. Woods Pine Lodge is straight forward, and the food is in the meat and potatoes vein of distinctly American cuisine. Reminiscent of an urban hunting lodge of sorts, the decor features wood furnishings and a private room off the main dining area. Choose from a selection of sandwiches, soups, meats, seafood and vegetables, all cooked and served up fresh by Chef John Chiakulas and his staff. Menu items include a crusted superior whitefish and a crispy pan fried sole with lemon caper butter sauce.One of the highest priced menu items is the filet mignon to which mushroom caps or a double baked potato can be added at a minimal amount.
