The majority of this museum is devoted to the history and expansion of life on the Kansas plains. Visitors are encouraged to stop at the Corner Drug Store within the museum to grab something cold to drink from the soda fountain or visit the 50-room mansion known as the Corinthian Hall. Along with Kansas City history, the museum features a planetarium and a natural history section.
