This timeless New Orleans establishment, Acme Oyster House, has been popular since the management first opened its doors in 1910. Located just off Bourbon Street, the seafood house offers its own twist on New Orleans cuisine in a noisy, casual atmosphere. The food is not to be missed. The popular neon sign beckons locals and tourists to the trademark oysters at an unbeatably low price. If oysters do not tempt your taste buds, try the restaurant's famous Poopa, a French bread bowl filled with sausage and shrimp gumbo or red beans and rice with sausage on the side. Simply delicious!
