Since first opening their doors in 1965, Drago's restaurant has continuously been the premier name for oysters in New Orleans. The secret to their success is owner Drago Cvitanovich's famous Charbroiled Oysters, which are cut in half, thrown on the grill, and served with Parmesan Cheese and, of course, lots of lemon. If oysters aren't your thing, they also offer genuine Maine Lobster for a very reasonable price, and a wide variety of seafood based dishes that will make you forget about your favorite steak houses and barbecue joints. Stop into Drago's in either New Orleans, or the original restaurant in Metairie for some of New Orleans' best seafood, and that's saying a lot!
