Settle into a deep booth in the mahogany-paneled dining room and get ready for a melt-in-your-mouth culinary experience at this old-fashioned steakhouse called Abe & Louie's. Filet mignon and porterhouse steak are standard fare. The kitchen offers a selection of cheese and sauces that may be included with your steak. Lighter entrees include a selection of poultry and fish dishes. Pick your own side dishes from a list including onion rings, asparagus and creamed spinach while you enjoy a drink from the full service bar. Seasonal outdoor seating and private dining rooms are available.

Very Disappointing!
VERY DISAPPOINTING! An $85.00 lunch Rip-Off. The quality of the meat was sub standard. My husband and I both had different steaks; the 'special' and a sirloin. For $35.00 each, we got nothing else on the plate except a stem of wilted green something; and had to pay $8.00 for EACH side-mashed potatoe, spinach (bitter) with portabello sauce (only one small piece of mushroom)And then there was the odor of urine outside the Restrooms. Complaints to the Manager was a meager 'sorry'. I chose this restaurant because of the rave reviews and awards of Zagot, Boston Magazine Phantom Gourmet and Improper Bostonian. They have lost all credibility in my view. (Interestingly, Zagat survey was for 2009 and 2010. 2010 hasn't happened yet!) One good point was the basket of assorted breads. although even the butter was not top grade. Definitely not recommended.
