Quincy Market has a number of bars to choose from and this underground tavern, with its mahogany paneling and brass ornaments, is a popular one. Ames Plow Tavern draws a mixed crowd, there are the professionals relaxing with a beer or locals enjoying a game of pool after work. There are also the tourists and shoppers stopping in after a day on the town. The menu consists of typical bar food, including appetizers, soup, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs, pizza and ribs.
