This town is the original location of celebrity TV chef Todd English's extremely popular restaurant Olives which has since opened branches in cities across the country. Diners flock here for the innovative Mediterranean cuisine in a lively, casual atmosphere. The menu emphasizes seafood but also offers red meat. Entrees include squid and octopus in vinaigrette, wood-grilled bass, pan-fried skate, Vermont pheasant wrapped in double smoked bacon and pasta. English also serves his version of the Spanish classic, paella olivacious.
