This place has a very country club-like feel and charm all its own. In the spring and summer, dining outdoors is particularly pleasant with spectacular views of Lake Kingsley. For casual affairs, opt for pub-style fare, such as chicken wings and fries from Starboard, the restaurant's bar. For dinner, a perfect start is the honey dijon salad. The mushroom and wild rice pilaf-stuffed chicken breast glazed with an unforgettable cream sauce is a hit. If you want to jump right into a fancy dinner, then the roast duckling, escargot and flavorful shrimp Alexander are good bets. A crab-stuffed rainbow trout is a favorite among the fish selections. Sunday means champagne brunch, and dinner is a smorgasbord-style picnic.
