This joint in artsy Uptown is usually wall-to-wall people, noisy and busy. Chino Latino is about dressing well, being current and making the scene. Look for the sparkly glitter marquee. If you can, stake out a large round, comfortable booth or group size table. The food and drink is as chic as the crowd. The menu features dishes from south of the border and Asia with many selections being hot and spicy. Choose from tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, Sweet and Sour Chicken, spring rolls stuffed with shrimp, chicken or noodles, shrimp and chicken curries, or Thai Curry Beef. The bar serves Japanese Saki, wines from France, Italy and Germany along with domestic vintages. The beer list is one of the best in town and cocktails are made with 'top shelf' liquors. Of course, soft drinks and fruit juices are also available.
