Donatelli's has served surprisingly good pizza to countless North Suburban rec-league teams and their families for over 30 years from the same mid-70s strip mall. The pizza is renowned for having a proper, thin crust and plenty of toppings; it's also delivered within a few mile radius. Often flooded with children, the booths are deep and private in this cavernous back-room eatery. Other delights include an ice cream bar and an expanded menu featuring antipasti and a selection of baked items. They're proudly local with team photos and trophies to prove it. -Marie Richie
