This is the area's only fair that brings together all of the towns in southwest Missouri to celebrate everything that the region has to offer. Besides the usual fair selection of rides and carnival games, it also offers the unusual fair selection of major concerts. The Family Living Exhibit is a must visit. Inside is a maze of displays honoring the talents of locals in photography, knitting, gardening and more. And, of course, the livestock shows and exhibits are non-stop. The fair is just 35 minutes north of Branson. Admission varies with event. See website for schedule and complete yearly particulars. Admission: Adults USD8; Children (6-12) USD2.
