A screenwriter could not conjure up a better version of the American classic diner than this diner. Complete with a burly cook dressed in white, a waitress who calls you "hon'," a counter full of friendly locals and the occasional crotchety old coffee drinker, this cafe screams "Americana." The food is typical diner fare, with daily blue-plate specials for lunch that range from $3.95-7.50. Dinners are always great, with a meal of pan-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and the veggie of the day.
