The Crossing is one of the better new restaurants to open in the busy Clayton area. The elegant cuisine is a blend of Italian and French influences, which means you can expect everything from foie gras with pears and mussels in saffron broth to Limousin Beef. Seafood is a specialty here. Try the savory blue cheese soufflé for an appetizer. For dessert, there are apple wedges with crispy pastry drizzled with chocolate and caramel.
