Located beside Rankin Avenue in downtown Asheville is a bistro cum bar called 'Bouchon'. One can't find an occasion unsuitable for this bistro. The menu includes small and large meals, both promising the traditional three-course French cuisine. An option between the soup and salad for starters is followed by a wide array of main course dishes and to top it all off is the dessert. Bouchon also has a respectable wine list to offer. One can choose to dine either in the indoor bar or at the outdoor bistro. Moderately priced too, so when the check comes, rarely is there scope for complaints. Every Wednesday and Thursday evenning, the Bouchon Bistro draws the projector out and screens a movie: a popular event among Asheville movie buffs! The bar opens from Monday to Saturday at 5p.
