Stepping into the tiny space that is the Carolina Cigar Company, your first sense is the intoxicating aroma of sweet tobacco. Then, as your eyes adjust to the dim interior, you see large tobacco market baskets, fast becoming a rarity even in antique stores, high up on the walls. You’ll find superb pipe and cigarette blends in sealed jars out front, but their forte is the hundreds of cigars in the climate controlled back room, which hand rolled from Carolina and South American tobaccos.
