If you want no-nonsense barbecue, this is the place to go. An institution in Greenville, B's Barbecue serves up some of the best Eastern North Carolina-style barbecue in the area. With a simple menu of barbecue pork sandwiches, barbecue by the pint or half a barbecued chicken, it is not uncommon for B's to completely run out of food by 1p - even if there is a steady line of customers waiting in line. The barbecue is done over charcoals (not wood) and is served up with plenty of vinegar and peppers. B's is only open for lunch and they do not have a telephone. You can easily get here on US-264, US-13 or I-95, but just keep in mind that you have to show up early!
