Birkdale Golf Club has all the trappings of a classy golf establishment, a few miles north of Charlotte. 200 acres of lush green, designed by Arnold Palmer, await professionals and amateurs. However, tee times have to be booked 8 days in advance. Birkdale's Conference Room, Birkdale's Club Room, and Palmer Pavilion are all rentable spaces on the premises, available for business meetings, private gatherings and charity events. Arnie's Tavern, an on-site bar/restaurant caters to hungry golfers.
