Step into Addie's, and you might as well be stepping into Jamaica. The restaurant's authentic menu is in no way toned down for sensitive American palettes. The jerk chicken is made the traditional way, oven baked rather than grilled. The jamaican-style pot roast is a serious crowd pleaser, as are the fish stew, oxtail, curry lobster, and even curry goat. On the side, delight in helpings of fried plantains and home-style (if home is Kingston, that is) mac and cheese. Addie's well-rounded wine list is a pleasant surprise.
