As the largest professional orchestra in the state, they perform more than 200 concerts during a single season. Special events fill the nine-month season with classics, Baroque, pop and casual concerts at the Rio Grande Zoo. The New Mexico Orchestra Symphony has been loyal to the community in its commitment to education, with ensemble performances for more than 40,000 children in public and private schools in Albuquerque.
