The museum features artists who represent traditions from Hispano/Latino cultures. The Museum opened to the public in 1953 and is now home to the world's largest collection of folk art! The collection of more than 130,000 artifacts forms the basis for exhibitions in four distinct wings: Bartlett, Girard, Hispanic Heritage and Neutrogena. Museum of Spanish Colonial Arts, Museum of International Folk Art, Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, all on Museum Hill, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Palace of the Governors are worth a visit.
