The Nu-Waiv Kaiv Course (Snow Mountain) is a desert, links-style design with no parallel holes. The scenic layout is located on the Paiute Reservation. Fairways are wide, green, small, flat and fast. Ponds come into play on seven holes. Considered a "kinder and gentler" Pete Dye layout, Snow Mountain provides a world-class golf experience typical for an architect who has designed eleven of the world's top 100 courses. From the desert tortoise-etched tee markers in Tribal sacred colors, every hole features a backdrop of scenic vistas found only in the Nevada high desert. The signature hole is #16, a 198-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a small, well-bunkered green. Impeccable rye-grass fairways and bent grass greens set against a sea of wild flowers in warm browns and dusty olives can lull you.
