Hudson River Museum with its six galleries and a planetarium is the largest in Westchester, New York. The name indicates the prime interest of the museum—Hudson River and its environs including the plant and animal life. The Yonker City Hall collection of the 19th century became a part of Hudson River Museum after its construction. It also includes paintings, sculptures, graphics, furniture and other artifacts. Events can be held at the museum cafe, auditorium and courtyard.
