There's no better way to escape the unrelenting heat of those summer months then by taking a cruise across the Great South Bay towards Flynn's. The atmosphere at Flynn's is right on the money for summertime dining, with a large outside deck overlooking the water (and if you're there at the right time, a beautiful sunset). Don't be fooled by the serenity of the dining room, because around 10:30 every night is the witching hour when the die hard beach combers, those sand hogs and sand harlots make their way into Flynn's for a night of uninhibited drinking, dancing, and debauchery. While there, you will have hot flashes of Flynn's skin in the scantily attired beachcombers. No need for formal wear, this is the beach, and tank tops ARE welcome!—Douglas Madey
