From the line that snakes around the uptown branch of this horror-themed restaurant which is called the Spooky, you would think the Beatles were playing inside. Instead, New York's hotspot for pre-teens is a Victorian haunted house filled with mechanical ghosts and scarily costumed actors. The overpriced menu features basic American food such as burgers and sandwiches. While most adults would rather be somewhere else, kids will certainly have fun. Jekyll and Hyde Pubis also at Seventh Avenue South between Barrow and West 4th streets
