This romantic restaurant with three fireplaces, is just the place for quiet conversations and fine dining. Though it comes alive on Fridays with live band performances. Michael Clampffer's (chef) efforts pay off as your teeth dunk into Pekin duck and Atlantic salmon. Lobster chowder and smoked trout halibut are also good dinner choices. And you simply cannot go wrong with peach crepes or port zabaglione. Be wary when ordering the house champagne; it is slightly overpriced. The management also undertakes catering and party orders for bridal showers, birthday parties and other gatherings.
