This independent establishment, on the Lower East Side, sells some of the best doughnuts in New York City. Owner, and doughnut lover, Mark Isreal has devoted years of his life to producing the perfect doughnut, and the crowds who flock here certainly think he has succeeded. Even some celebrities have been known to stop in for a treat. All the oversized doughnuts are made daily, using fresh, organic ingredients. A number of classic varieties are available, including glazed, chocolate and jelly.
