Joe's Deli & Restaurant is a West Cleveland staple. Located in an unassuming location, the place is still consistently busy. Though its name doesn't imply it, Joe's Deli is not merely American sandwiches, but also shows several Middle Eastern, particularly Lebanese and Jewish, influences. For example, Joe's is famous for its Matzoh-ball soup, and also has Shish Tawook - chicken in a pita sandwich available on the menu. American deli fare features Corned Beef and Reuben sandwiches, Philly Cheesesteaks, and Chicken Melts. Vegetarians have a few options, such as a Portabella Mushroom Burger, Egg Salad Sandwich, or several different salads.
