Sushi Rock takes its name seriously. The atmosphere is deliberately hip, from loud music to a futuristic bar to the dark reds and purples in the décor. Sushi Rock describes its food as "Am-Asian," which means more experimental sushi, such as Beef Sushi, Egg Sushi, or the Lobster Salad Roll, with lettuce, cucumber, carrot, and spicy mayo. The sushi also comes in larger portions, and there are also traditional entrées likes steaks and burgers. Sushi Rock also offers more common sushi options, like Yellowtail, California, and Spicy Tuna. The restaurant is also famous for their Tsunami promotion on Wednesday nights, during which smaller sushi rolls are half-price. - Marjorie Jensen
