Portland would not be the same without the Heathman Hotel, a downtown landmark. The hotel's restaurant and bar are equally important to Portland's culture. The lounge paintings once owned by Vanderbilt, author-autographed books in the library and Andy Warhol Endangered Species prints boost the decor from upper crust to extraordinary. The dishes weave wonderful local flavors into delightful French creations. Salads are a lunch favorite. Try the Asparagus and Bay shrimp salad, served with lemon aioli. Enjoy live jazz in the evenings Wednesday through Saturday.
