Patrons of the nearby Forrest and Walnut Street Theaters come to Aoi to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine and sushi before a show. Aoi is most well known for its all-you-can-sushi special for $19.95 available seven days a week. The Japanese menu features an extensive selection of noodle dishes, sashimi, hibachi grill, and seafood entrees. A completely vegetarian menu is also available. The sake list could be a little more extensive but beers, wines, and spirits are all on hand. Reservations for the weekends are recommended.
