The Mansion at Rittenhouse is a nightclub in the eponymous square that tries to be classy, though ends up being a touch pretentious. The cover and drinks are both over-priced and the music might as well be from the next guy's iPod. However, in Philadelphia there aren't many places open after hours, which is where the Mansion steps in. If you are ready to bear the rude bouncers, who are known to rough up unruly guests, then you could pay a visit to Rittenhouse. The clientele itself is rich, beautiful and well dressed and rock the dance in a drunken stupor till the wee hours of the morning. In all, an interestingly decadent nightclub in the impoverished inner city!
