If you thought yacht clubs were only for the well-heeled traveler, well, you're still right. Located within the 13,000 square foot decadent clubhouse you'll find The Catesby Dining Room, dedicated exclusively to the artist Mark Catesby whose work lines the walls and The Bluefish Dining Room which offers stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway as well as being the social "hub" of the club. The building also provides a board room for business meetings and The Chart Room which is perfect for receptions or intimate dinners. One of the best kept secrets in Hilton Head is the The Wine Cellar offering a spectacular array of wines from across the world. Outside, you can brush up on your tennis swing with one of the two resident professionals located on-site or get in some exercise in the 24-hour fitness center one of the several swimming pools. One of the most amazing features of the yacht club, however, has got to be the Windmill Harbor and its lock system. Measuring 80 feet long and 20 feet wide, this is only one of three private locked harbors on the east coast. Overall, this is Hilton Head's place for unparalleled comfort and elegance.
