The Myrtle Beach area celebrates the Fourth of July both on land and on the sea. This seaworthy festival boasts over 100 boats parading by, all decorated in red, white and blue. The 14-foot boats to 40-foot yachts start at high tide at the fishing jetties in Garden City and sail to Murrell's Inlet. Trophies are awarded to the three best decorated boats. Landlubbers get into the act as well; trophies are awarded for the three best decorated docks. Free admission. Held at
