Sitar Indian Cuisine is not just a personal favorite of many locals, but the top winner in Best of Nashville six of the last seven years in the category of Indian restaurants. The atmosphere, service and cleanliness are top notch with cloth napkins and stemmed water glasses even during the lunch buffet. This is definitely fine dining for an affordable price and the food is fantastic, not overly spicy, and amazingly flavorful. This is a truly an experience not to miss in Nashville. For a great chance to try a variety of flavors, the all-you-can-eat buffet has to be one of the best deals in town.

These people are SO RUDE. You walk in the door and they point to a table barely even looking at you. No one says hello. No one asks if you want anything....
RUDE.RUDE.RUDE... The Service has never been stellar at Sitar but lately they just don't give a sh*t. The food also reflects this attitude... very sub par....
I'm originally from Nashville, but did not start eating Indian cuisine until after I left. The food at this restaurant is great!
